Description
VocRide 2 Lite is the free edition of nClear Audio's pitch-following vocal EQ. Its four harmonic bands move with the detected vocal note, letting you shape the voice relative to its changing pitch instead of relying only on fixed EQ frequencies.
The Lite edition includes the core EQ workflow, a Current Note display, and a Low Cut that can follow the detected fundamental. Automatic Gain Compensation helps keep output level in check, while Live Mode, presets, scaling and themes support day-to-day use.
VocRide 2 also has a paid Pro edition, but its harmonic dynamics, Harmonic Solo and linear-phase processing are not part of Lite. The same plugin shows an optional 30-minute Pro Preview once per rolling 24 hours; the limit applies to the preview, not to the free Lite EQ.
Version 2 is a separate major release that installs alongside VocRide 1, so existing projects can keep using the earlier plugin. nClear says user presets can be imported manually, but DAW projects and automation do not migrate automatically.
