Orra Deverb is a de-reverberation plug-in for reducing unwanted room sound in recorded dialogue, vocals, instruments, and other source material. It works from one mono or stereo track without a reference signal, using a room model and a separation stage to distinguish reverberant sound from the direct signal.
Its Scout function measures a played passage with pauses or clear note endings, then writes settings for room decay, reverb level, maximum reduction, preserve, and focus. Scout stops after gathering enough usable tails rather than making a change from too little material, while the user still chooses the overall reduction amount by ear.
The controls are designed for practical cleanup rather than a one-click black box. Preserve protects attacks and tonal detail, Focus biases processing toward darker or brighter room sound, and the Removed monitor lets you audition what is being taken away before pushing the result too far.
