Grex Ballada is Fanan Team’s ballad-focused virtual arranger for playing a complete backing band from a DAW. A left-hand chord can drive drums, bass, guitars, strings, and horn parts while the right hand remains available for solo sounds, giving keyboard players a compact way to shape an accompaniment without loading separate instruments.
Its 90 pre-programmed ballad styles arrive with their own 16-channel sound setup, mixer, routing, levels, effects, tempo, and time signature. The styles cover 4/4 as well as 3/4, 6/8, and 7/8, while the browser includes search and favorites for finding a usable starting point quickly.
Performance controls go beyond a static backing loop. Grex Ballada provides keyboard split modes, chord recognition, harmony, manual bass, section changes, fills, intros, endings, and DAW sync, so a part can move with a live performance or a developing song sketch.
A dedicated Style Ducker listens to the right-hand part and reduces only the competing areas of the backing band before both sides are mixed.
