Description
Gluon is a bus compressor from nClear Audio built for adding cohesion to a mix or punch to drums. Its distinctive Gluon Map gathers the plugin instances in a project into one window, so you can see their levels and adjust one compressor or several together without opening every plugin window.
The main compressor offers extended attack, ratio and release ranges, plus a Range control that limits how much gain reduction can occur. Parallel Mix lets you blend processed and original audio, while an external sidechain input and filters provide more control over what triggers compression.
MakeUp Learn measures a short passage and sets a fixed gain adjustment to help compare processed and unprocessed sound at similar loudness. After the compressor, you can choose a hard clipper, soft clipper or limiter, with optional output oversampling.
Gluon Map shares settings and metering between instances; it does not send audio between tracks. Discovery depends on how the DAW hosts plugins, so instances in different formats or isolated processes may not appear together.

Will every Gluon instance appear in Map?
The instances must run as the same plugin module within the same DAW process. Different plugin formats or sandboxed instances may not see each other, and a host that keeps multiple projects in one process may show instances from more than one project.
