Description
Box of Bass by Box of Rules is a bass processing rig that turns one DI track into a layered studio-style bass chain. It splits the signal into a true sub, two clean cabinet channels, three driven mic channels, and two room channels, then lets you blend those parts like a compact multi-mic session.
The plugin is built for broad bass tone building rather than a single amp model. You can keep the low end centered with the sub and clean channels, add fuzz or distortion from the driven strips, choose what feeds the room mics, and shape the final result with a master EQ and live spectrum view.
Version 1.2 adds Tone and Feel controls for pre-drive character, plus a Phase window that helps align the active strips. Simple mode hides the deeper routing when you only need faders, while Guitar Mode pitches the chain down an octave for turning guitar recordings into bass parts.
