Description
Shape Lite 2 is Audec's single-stage waveshaper and wavefolder, offering six shaping types with up to four morph parameters for each curve. Offset adds asymmetric distortion and oversampling up to 4x can reduce alias noise from nonlinear processing.
It is the lighter version of the dual-stage Shape 2, whose serial or parallel routing and 21 shapes are documented on the same page. Shape Lite 2 is listed as VST3 for Windows 11 64-bit and VST3/AU for macOS 10.11–12 on Intel and Apple Silicon.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Shape Lite 2 differ from Shape 2?
Shape Lite 2 is the single-stage version with six shapes and up to 4x oversampling. Shape 2 is a dual-stage waveshaper/wavefolder with 21 shapes and serial or parallel routing.
Can Shape Lite 2 make asymmetric distortion?
Yes. Its Offset control applies an offset to the input signal, producing asymmetric distortion and warm even harmonics.
Which systems are listed?
The page lists VST3/AU for macOS 10.11–12 on Intel and Apple Silicon, and VST3 for Windows 11 64-bit.
