Description
Regressif is a sound-degradation unit by Inear Display that combines filtering, digital distortion, sample-rate reduction, and bit crushing. Four filter types, three lo-fi routing options, dry/wet control, and amplitude adjustment can move a source from subtle coloration to digital noise.
Two LFO modules, seven classic shapes, optional host-clock sync, an LFO mixer, patch-cord modulation routing, randomization, and 40 factory presets make the effect useful for animated degradation as well as one-off destruction. VST and AU versions are listed for Windows and macOS.
